Keto Taco Salad

For the Dressing:

  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon taco seasoning

Instructions:

  1. Cook Taco Meat:
    • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef or turkey and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed. Add taco seasoning and water (according to packet instructions) and simmer until the mixture thickens.
  2. Prepare Salad Ingredients:
    • In a large bowl, combine shredded lettuce, cherry tomatoes, diced red onion, sliced black olives, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped cilantro.
  3. Make Dressing:
    • In a small bowl, whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, and taco seasoning to create the dressing.
    • Add the cooked taco meat to the salad ingredients. Drizzle the dressing over the top.Assemble the Salad:
  4. Toss and Serve:
    • Toss the salad until well combined. Serve immediately.
