Keto Pizza In A Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup diced pepperoni (or your preferred pizza toppings such as sausage, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, etc.)
  • 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce (choose a low-carb or sugar-free option)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the diced pepperoni and cook until it starts to crisp up, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add the diced green bell pepper and onion to the skillet with the pepperoni. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in the sliced black olives and marinara sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until heated through.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the pepperoni and vegetable mixture in the skillet. Cover with a lid and let it cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Remove the skillet from the heat and sprinkle the dried oregano and basil over the melted cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired, and serve hot.
