Keto Pizza In A Bowl
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup diced pepperoni (or your preferred pizza toppings such as sausage, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, etc.)
- 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce (choose a low-carb or sugar-free option)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the diced pepperoni and cook until it starts to crisp up, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the diced green bell pepper and onion to the skillet with the pepperoni. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the sliced black olives and marinara sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until heated through.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the pepperoni and vegetable mixture in the skillet. Cover with a lid and let it cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and sprinkle the dried oregano and basil over the melted cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired, and serve hot.
