Keto 6-Minute Caramel
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered erythritol (or your preferred keto-friendly sweetener)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Melt Butter:
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.
- Add Sweetener:
- Once the butter is melted, add the powdered erythritol to the saucepan. Stir continuously to combine.
- Simmer:
- Allow the mixture to simmer for about 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly. This helps the sweetener dissolve and the mixture to thicken.

- Gradually pour in the heavy cream, continuing to stir. The mixture will thicken further as it simmer
- Add Cream:
- Flavor with Vanilla and Salt:
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt for flavor.
- Cool and Serve:
- Let the caramel cool for a few minutes before serving. It will continue to thicken as it cools.
